Bernard Mason George

Bernard Mason George, age 64 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Sanctuary at Wilmington Place. He was born February 19, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Robert Sr. and Ethel George.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; parents, Robert Sr. and Ethel George; and brother-in-law, Kenny Hamilton.

Bernard is survived by four siblings, Patricia Hamilton, Jerry (Jeanie) George, Peggy (Tony) Barber, and Robert (Mary) George Jr. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Debbie George along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He served in the United States Army and worked at Advanced Machinery and Kroger's. Bernard enjoyed fishing and swimming. He was kind and generous to a fault. Bernard is well loved will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at the Sanctuary for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.

Bernard will be laid to rest with his mother Ethel at Shiloh Park Cemetery, date will be announced soon.
