Benita A. (Randol) Shea, age 86, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 13th, 2025. She was born in Georgetown, South Carolina, on August 23, 1939, the daughter of the late James Randol and Murrell Daggett.
Her husband, of 50 years, William P. Shea, preceded her in death in 2015.
She is survived by her only son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Anne; two grandchildren, Emma Grayce Shea and William Francis Shea; one sister, Sandra (Jim) Haley of Edgewater, Florida; 3 nephews, George (Karen), Robert (Elizabeth) and Michael (Regina) Brisben; and long time friends, Ruth and Bill Norton.
Benita and Bill married on February 6th, 1965, and during Bill's career in the Air Force, they traveled and lived in multiple countries around the globe and states in the U.S. After settling in Beavercreek, Ohio, Benita took off on a long and successful career in Real Estate with Coldwell Banker Heritage. She retired in 2023, when she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, to live with Scott, Anne, Emma and William.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Blessing Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
