Benaiah "Benny" Aaron Carpenter

Benaiah "Benny" Aaron Carpenter was born on January 7, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio. He is a special gift, filled with strength and love that touched all of our hearts.

Benny was named Benaiah, which means "Built by God," a name that reflects a mighty and courageous spirit like the figure from the Bible. Benny taught us we can love deeper than we ever imagined and are stronger than we ever imagined. We find comfort in knowing that when Benny opened his tiny eyes for the first time, he gazed upon Jesus, enveloped in heavenly peace and joy.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Rex and Brittany Carpenter, who will carry him in their hearts forever. Benny is survived by his siblings, Wren and Nolan, who are blessed to have a brother so precious. His grandparents, Mark and Wanda Chambers, and Robert and Cora Carpenter, will hold him close in their hearts and memories, as well as his great-grandmother Emburta Stallard. Benny’s aunts and uncles, Kyle and Jenna Chambers, Keith and Ting Chia Carpenter, Brian Carpenter, and Steven Carpenter, will lovingly remember their little nephew, as well as beloved cousins Theo and Amelia.

Though Benny's time with us was brief, it manifested a profound impact on those who loved him. We knew all along that Benny's life on this earth would be short, yet it was filled with love, peace, joy, faith, and family.

He joins a host of loving angels, including his great-grandparents Robert and Eileen Grefer, William “Dale” Chambers, Neil and Louise Schaeffer, Larry Stallard, and Clayton and Ruby Carpenter.

As we gather to honor Benaiah's sweet spirit, we will celebrate his life, full of joy and love, with visitation held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on February 28, 2026, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Benny will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of God’s goodness and the profound love we share.
