Beatrice Powers

Beatrice Powers, age 68, passed away on December 17. She was the beloved wife and life partner of Tyrone Powers for 42 years.

Beatrice lived in Savannah, Georgia, but moved to Ohio to begin a life rooted in love, commitment, and perseverance. She was a dedicated and hardworking professional who gave her best throughout her career.

Beatrice was a wonderful human being whose strength, kindness, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Tyrone Powers, and her cherished family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Boatwright, and her father, Ezekiel Boatwright.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at  Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The service will be viewing only and will be followed by cremation, in accordance with her wishes.
