Barbara J. Seiker

Barbara J. Seiker, age 79 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2020. She was born August 4, 1940 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Alfred and Marie Butler.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She retired as an x-ray technician. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Green County Fish and Game. She volunteered at the USO at WPAFB, and at the Xenia Food Bank. Barbara was deeply loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Eugene E. Seiker; sister, Myona Kiselka; and brother, Sanford Butler.
Barbara is survived by her sons; Vernon L. (Treanda) Seiker and Gerald G. (Tina) Seiker; grandchildren, Kristin, Jennifer, Christopher, Vernon Jr., Christina, and Nicklaus; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl (Annette) Butler of Indiana; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton- Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am at St. Luke Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. (1440 North Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in Barbara's honor to Toys for Tots.
