Moss, Barbara "Barb", 61, of Kettering, passed away suddenly on July 18, 2017.
She was born August 26, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William and Betty (Kidd) Helter. Barb graduated from Fairmont West high School in 1973 and then went on to graduate from Miami Jacobs. She worked at Dollar General at Stroop and Marshall for 8 years, and previously she worked at Meijers on Wilmington Pike. Barb was very out going and had a good sense of humor. In her free time she enjoyed reading.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Beatrice Ann Helter. She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Robert "Rob" Moss; her parents-in-law, Rex and Patsy Moss; sisters-in-law, Janet Martin and Sherri Moss and her many work friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where funeral service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 1:30pm.
If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Barb's memory.
