Barbara Ann Malchow

Barbara Ann Malchow, age 68 of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 14, 1952 in Kettering, to the late Robert and Rosemary Aylstock.
She is also preceded in death by her son, Edward Robert Malchow and sister, Joyce Ann Aylstock.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Edward Malchow, daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Ellie" Ellis; daughter-in-law, Lauren Elizabeth Ellis; grandson, Oakley Robert Ellis; sister, Sue Ellen Aylstock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends, and her cat murphy, and beloved grand-dog, Chappie.
She was known as "Mama Malchow" for her nurturing and generous spirit. Barbara's life was centered around spending time with her husband and family. She enjoyed playing cards, hosting holiday meals, and especially enjoyed attending her children's sporting events.
Celebration of life to be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the celebration. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
