Barbara L. Lombardo

Barbara L. Lombardo, age 84 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025. She was born July 24, 1941 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Anthony and Elvira Cipro. She graduated from New Castle High School. She went on to work as a manager for Wright Patterson Credit Union and as a tax preparer for H&R Block Premium. 

Barbara was quite the gardener, growing flowers of several different kinds. She liked getting together with her Red Hat Group and there were several trips and numerous lunches over the years. She loved putting together Jigsaw Puzzles. Her Family knew Barbara as "Nona" and they were the center of her life. She was a proud grandma and loved taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a good baker and especially loved baking cookies with them. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Nicholas R. Lombardo Father, Anthony Cipro, Mother, Elvira Caprose, Step Father Carmen Caprose, and Brother, Carl "Buddy" Caprose.

Barbara is survived by her Brother, Lou (Chuck Bass) Cipro; Daughters, Robin (Jason Minser) Ewing, and Niki (Jeff Goliver) Lombardo; Sons, Vincent (June Wedd) Lombardo, and Steven (Caren) Lombardo; Granddaughters, Alisha (Chris Haston) Ewing, Jennifer Perkins, Emily Goliver, and Sophia Lombardo; Grandsons, Anthony (Linda) Goliver, and Benjamin (Meagan) Casey; Great-Granddaughters, Kaylee, Madison, Alayna, Mary, and Kenslee; Great-Grandsons, Orion, Emory, and Owen; and by numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Barbara will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn, OH.
