Barbara S. Brechtl, age 72 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 11, 1946 in Newport, Rhode Island the daughter of Thurman and Eulah Plessinger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dan Plessinger and Aaron Plessinger.
Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and a graduate of the Dayton School of Practical Nursing. Barbara loved humming birds, gardening and arts and crafts.
Barbara is survived by her husband Otto; son, Brian L. (Geraldine) Brechtl; daughter, Amy D. Brechtl; sisters, Sue Roberts and Becky (Carter) McKamy; grandchildren, Dan (Janaya) Brechtl, Marisa Brechtl, Alena Chapman, Jerrod Chapman. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be March 18, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions-Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
Memorial Service will be held on March 18, 2019 at 3:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints 3072 Shakertown Rd Beavercreek, OH.
