Audrey M Gates

Audrey Mae Gallagher-Gates, born April 10, 1946 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 8, 2026.

Audrey is survived by her loving daughter, Kathleen Gates; her grandsons, Chandler Abshire and Tanner Gates; and her two brothers, Gordon Gallagher and Paul Gallagher-Garner.

Audrey was preceded in death by her nine siblings nd the light of her life, her beloved grandson, Austin Abshire.

Audrey was a loving mother and an incredible grandmother whose heart had no limits. She welcomed anyone who came into her life with open arms, whether they were family by blood or simply family by love. Audrey had a special way of making everyone feel accepted, cared for, and at home. Her kindness, warmth, and unconditional love touched countless lives and will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her.

A funeral service honoring Audrey's life will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road) at 10:30am. Visitation will take place one hour prior (9:30-10:30) with burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
