It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aubrie Sanders, who left us far too soon on July 17, 2025. Born in 1999, Aubrie was a beacon of joy and strength in the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. Her whimsical spirit and unwavering positivity touched countless hearts, leaving a legacy that will be remembered by all.
Aubrie is survived by a loving family who adored her immensely; her proud father, Matthew Sanders, and her compassionate mother, Stephanie Camplin. She is also cherished by her grandmothers, Elizabeth Landry, and her grandfather, Robert Landry. Aubrie shared a special bond with her sisters, Josie Sanders, Caitlin Settles, and Cayleigh Camplin, whose lives have been enriched by Aubrie's enduring love and light-hearted humor.
Aubrie's academic milestones were significant aspects of her journey. She graduated from middle school in 2015 and went on to graduate from Belmont High School, Dayton, OH in 2019. Her tenacious spirit and bright, joyful personality were ever apparent in her academic journey as well, filling the hallways and classrooms with laughter and happiness.
Despite her youthful age, Aubrie showed a powerful resilience, going through three open heart surgeries like a true champion. These formidable challenges never dimmed Aubrie's spirit, serving instead as a testament to her incredible strength, courage, and determination. This, coupled with her goofy and joyful personality, made her a true inspiration to all.
Those who knew Aubrie could attest to her joyful presence, infectious laughter, and the incredible lessons she left behind. Above all, she taught us all to 'be happy,' a lesson that we will carry in our hearts as we continue to navigate the journey of life without her. Aubrie's legacy is truly that of a sweet soul who loved a laugh, and she will forever be remembered as our beloved 'Stinky Jean'. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her memory will continue to inspire joy and strength in all of us.
