Arizona "Zona" Pinkston

Arizona "Zona" Pinkston, age 91, of Dayton passed away on February 15, 2024. She was born in Rogersville, Alabama on October 14, 1932 to the late Curtis and Pearl Watkins. In addition to her parents, Zona is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Pinkston and siblings, Ella Elliott, Eddie Watkins, Luther Watkins, Valerie Starks, Lena Smith, Alcrene Watson, Iunice King, NV Watkins and Retha Guy.

Zona is survived by her sister, Rilla Mattison; special nephew, Derek Watkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor J. Curry to officiate.
