Arden M. "Buzz" Conklin, Jr.

Arden M. "Buzz" Conklin, Jr., age 78, of Dayton, passed away August 29, 2025. He was born January 7, 1947 in Ventura, CA to the late Arden and Nikki Conklin. In addition to his parents, Buzz was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Ruple; and brothers: Fred Conklin and Leonard Conklin.

Buzz is survived by his children: Sage, Leaha Conklin and Tyler Conklin; grandchildren: Kyle, Trinity Rowland, Harper Clinton and Alayna Conklin; and brother, Jack Conklin.

Buzz was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., where he honorably served his country and received the Purple Heart for his heroic actions in the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature, fishing and animals.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Dayton National Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
