Anthony B. Schirmer, affectionately known as Tony, was born on March 9, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio. He lived a life filled with love, artistry, and dedication until his passing on May 28, 2025, in his hometown of Dayton.
Tony made a significant impact throughout his career as a union painter with R&R Painting. His profession allowed him to showcase his exceptional talent as an artistic painter, enabling him to design not only for his work but also for his personal life. His creative flair was evident in the many unique tattoos he proudly adorned, a testament to his artistic vision and expression.
Beyond his professional life, Tony was deeply cherished as a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda Schirmer, and his three sons: Jason (Shaunda) Schirmer, Freddie White, and Tre Schirmer. He was a proud grandfather to Kyla, Amanda, Riley, and Wesley, finding immense joy and fulfillment in his role as a loving grandpa, which remains one of his proudest accomplishments.
Tony was the son of Raymond and Sue Ann Schirmer, who, along with his family, were blessed to have shared in his life. He leaves behind numerous extended family members and dear friends who will remember him for his warmth, creativity, and the love he shared. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Amanda White, whose memory he carried in his heart.
