Anthony Phillip Manfredi, affectionately known as Tony, was born on June 1, 1988, in Dayton, Ohio. He passed away on August 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to his community and a love for his family that was unwavering.
Tony devoted ten years of his life to serving the Hamilton Fire Department, where he held the title of Lieutenant. He also held the titles of Fire and Emergency Services Instructor II, Paramedic, and Firefighter II. His commitment to public safety extended beyond Hamilton; Tony was also affiliated with fire departments in Washington Township, Lebanon, Spring Valley Township, and Riverside. His passion for training others led him to serve as an instructor at Butler Tech for Fire and EMS, where he shared his extensive knowledge and experience with aspiring firefighters. A certified live fire instructor with Blue Card certification and a Fire Safety Inspector, he played an active role on the training committee, underscoring his dedication to advancing the profession. He provided support with the anesthesiology departments at many local pediatric dentist offices.
Tony was a proud graduate of Centerville High School, where he completed his studies in 2006. He later earned an Associate Degree in Fire Service Technology from Sinclair Community College in 2014, further solidifying his expertise in the field he loved.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tony was a loving and supportive husband to his beloved wife, Hailee Manfredi. They were eagerly anticipating the arrival of their son, Brooks Anthony-Alan. In his home, Tony was not only a devoted partner but also a Loving Supportive "Trophy Husband," exemplifying love and support in every way. His household was lively with the presence of cherished pets, including Onyx, Simone, Nala, Griffin, Luna, and Handsome Hank, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Tony’s personality was defined by his selflessness and his sense of humor, often bringing laughter and lightness to any gathering. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, snow skiing and boarding, boating, wake boarding and tubing, and was an all around outdoor enthusiast. He was known for his culinary skills and enjoyed spending time grilling and barbecuing for family and friends. Tony was also an enthusiastic supporter of his family. He was a provider and protector to those closest to him. Though he had married into basketball, he embraced his role as a "coach's husband" seriously, cheering loudly, questioning calls and pretending he understood the plays.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Hailee Manfredi, their soon-to-be son, Brooks Anthony-Alan, and their beloved pets. He leaves behind his mother, Jessica Bankston, and father, Bruce (Penny) Manfredi, as well as his sister, Danielle (Jiri) Manfredi. He is also survived by his in-laws, Ron and Pam Rittinger, sisters-in-law Madi and Gabby Rittinger, stepsiblings Kaitlynd (Seth) Keim, Gennifer Valentini, and Jacob Valentini, along with uncles Mike (Bev) Rich, Matt Tarlano and family, Mike Manfredi and family, and aunts Laura Manfredi and Ann Snyder.
