Annie Ruth Seagraves

Annie Ruth Seagraves, age 69 of Moraine, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home. She was born March 10, 1949 in Jackson, Tennessee to Rufus May and Mildred May-Gill.

Annie is preceded in death by her father, Rufus May; brother, Rufus May, Jr. and sister, Rodia May.

In addition to her mother, Mildred May-Gill, Annie is survived by her husband, Garry Seagraves; sons, Ronald Jackson and Victor Washington; daughter, LaToya Jackson; sisters, Sadie (Joe) Robinson and Julier (Fred) Mack; brother, George May; grandchildren, Ronald Jackson, Jr., Aaryonne Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Mykyla Butler, Manny Blake and Ni'Zayia Washington; great granddaughter, Arre'll; father of Ronald and LaToya Jackson, Raymond Jackson and father of Victor Washington Jr., Victor Washington as well as numerous family and friends.
Annie enjoyed creating arts and crafts, such as ceramics and wood creations for sale. She was a 1967 graduate of Merry High School and completed an education in law enforcement at Sinclair Community College. She worked as a nursing practitioner for Echoing Woods for 20 plus years. Annie was generous with her time and assisted others in need. She will always be remembered for dedication to her faith, family and friends.

Family will receive guests Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (901 E. Whipp Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459).Funeral services will immediately follow also at 2:00 pm also at the church and officiated by Bishop Christopher Muratore.
