Annette M. Dlask

Annette M. Dlask, a beloved wife, mom, mamaw, and sister, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on March 18, 1963, Annette filled the lives of those around her with joy and laughter.

Annette was an outgoing and fun-loving individual. Her sassy personality blossomed once you got to know her, revealing a beautiful soul that endeared her to many. Her husband of 22 wonderful years, John Dlask, always brought her flowers to symbolize the love they shared. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and cherished memories.

Annette is survived by her husband John; three children: Donovan (Jacob Wilder) Knight, Samuel Knight, and Ashley Knight; her grandchildren, Skylin Knight, Jamari Knight, Kymani Knight, Kataleya Knight, and another grandchild whose arrival she eagerly anticipated. She also leaves her sisters, Jonelle (James) Erbaugh, Yvonne Sue Eidemiller, and Cidny Dean; brother-in-law Jibiryl Almuniyr; and her beloved cats, Windi, Michelangelo, and April Lynn.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Knight, her mother, Phyllis Knight, and her sister, Stephanie Almuniyr.

Annette had a variety of interests that enriched her life. She was an avid shopper, especially fond of purses, watches, and cozy blankets. Her love for butterflies and flowers reflected her vibrant spirit, and she took delight in cooking and baking, sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. She took immense joy in nurturing her family connections, particularly enjoying visits with family in Chicago.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 12-2pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The service will follow at 2pm.

As we remember Annette M. Dlask, we celebrate a life full of love, laughter, and family. Her spirit will continue to inspire and bring light to all who knew her.
