Ferneding, Anne M., age 93, of Oakwood, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013.

Anne was a member of St. Albert the Great Church. She was a graduate of Oakwood High School and attended the University of Dayton and the College of Mt. Saint Joseph in Cincinnati. Anne loved history and was a past member of both the Montgomery County and Oakwood Historical Societies.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents: Judge Henry & Josephine Ferneding; sister: Jane B. Ferneding; brothers: Thomas C. & John C. Ferneding and nephews: William R. & James Ferneding. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family members and friends, especially all of her friends at Sycamore Glen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1322 Brown St., Dayton. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday evening at the Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Anne.
