Anne Krewson Coder, age 85 of Beavercreek, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 28, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to Wilbur and Alice (Pickles) Krewson.
Anne graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton in 1951. She worked as a waitress, was a partner in the C.L. Coder Detective Agency, a proof operator at various area banks, worked as a dispatcher for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and a medical office administrator. Anne enjoyed needlepoint, counted cross-stitch, reading and watching movies. She also loved to listen to music and socializing with friends. Anne was a member of the Ocie, MO Volunteer Fire Department, Friends of Dayton Metro Libraries, was a current member of the Beavercreek, OH Senior Center and the AHEPA 113 Book Club. Anne loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Victoria Lynn (Lawrence Clark) Chadbourne; a grandson, Nicholas A.C. Clark and a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Christopher L.C. and Sarah Alguire Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kenneth Coder; and a cousin, Thelma Brown (nee Pickles).
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Memorial Service will follow the gathering at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
