Annabelle E. Swackhamer, age 72, of Dayton, passed away peacefully with her loved ones, on June 9, 2018. Ann was born on April 17, 1946 to the late Clarence and Marie Dougherty. She loved to craft in her free time. She was a creative woman and had a kind, caring, and compassionate heart. She was a loving mother to not just her own children but anyone who was in need of compassion. Annabelle took great pride in her family and loved to spend time with those she cherished. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her son, Robert Swackhamer.
Ann leaves to cherish her memory, loving children, Ronald (Kristy) Swackhamer, Rhonda Swackhamer, and John ( Rhonda Gail) Swackhamer; sister, Jeanie (James) Thompson; brother, Russell (Sandy) Dougherty; grandchildren, April, Jada, Jessica, Michelle, Stephanie, and Joe; many great-grandchildren; very special friend, James Gould; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service to honor Annabelle's life will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel at 3pm. Family will greet friends and loved ones for one hour prior (2pm - 3pm). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annabelle's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
