Anna Lou Yates (Caudill), 84, of Springboro, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the Hillspring Healthcare Center of Springboro, Ohio. She was born on November 20, 1941, in Jeremiah, Kentucky to David D. Caudill and Atha L. Caudill (Hampton). A graduate of Letcher County High School, she spent a career in administrative health care support that spanned from Richmond State Hospital in Richmond, Indiana to Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. She enjoyed fishing and travelling; especially her visits to the beach and back home to the mountains.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Donald R. Yates and her three sisters whom she loved; Hester Phillips; Edith Caudill; and Arezona Wysong. She is survived by her son, Monte Yates of Beavercreek, Ohio; and her daughter, Delana Zapata of Bellbrook, Ohio and her husband Greg Geyer; granddaughters Sarah Yates; Tess Vance (Yates) and her husband Thomas; Gabi Fullerton (Zapata) and her husband Cole; Mia Zapata; grandson Paul Schwieters; brother-in-law David Yates and his wife Susan; sister-in-law Deborah Lee (Yates); and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends

A celebration of life will be held in early spring with a private family ceremony to follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
