Anna D. Savino, age 104, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Anna was born in Conversano (Bari), Italy on January 1, 1917 to the late Francesco Ramunni & Vita Mattea DiChito.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gennaro Savino; daughter, Antonia Savino; brother, Pasquale (Giuseppina) Ramunni; sister, Tina Ramunni; in-laws, Filomena & Angelo, Fontina & Gerardo and Francesco & Giuseppina.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Vita Conley; son, Cosmo Savino; numerous dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Italy, the US and Canada.
Family was everything to Anna. She enjoyed their company. She was employed as a seamstress and during her leisure time skillfully crafted original creations. She loved gardening and nature.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of Anna.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 10-11 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Dayton, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Anna will be laid to rest next to her husband at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
