Ann M. Reak

Ann M. Reak, age 68, passed away May 17, 2025. She was born on September 2, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Dorothy and George McDonald.

Ann was a nurse for many years and enjoyed taking care of long term care patients and being a school nurse at Huber Heights City Schools. She was known for being a hard worker and never called off except for the day after she won the Jackpot at Bingo. She continued working to continue her generosity for her grandchildren.

Ann always found a way, never gave up and would encourage others to do the same.

Ann enjoyed spending time with children. She was always there to blow her Air Horn to encourage her grandchildren and their friends at their sporting events.

Ann was the love of Walt's life and they shared peace and happiness for 32 years. She had a loving life and found peace and acceptance at the end. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Walt Wright Jr.; children, Katie (Darryl Powell) Culpepper, Kimberly (Michael Coss) Conley, Bobbie Parsons, Glen (Tina) Reak, Thomas (Bethany) Wright and Michelle (Kevin) Shannon; grandchildren, Kenneth, Jerrod, Camden, Ashley, Travis, Aiden, Rachel Ann, Jake, Ryan and Mckenzie; great-grandson, Sevyn Saint; her siblings, Barrett, Mary, Sue, Kathy, Dorothy. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City, OH. A funeral procession to the cemetery will begin forming at 10:15 am at the funeral home and will leave promptly at 10:30 am.
