Angela Sue Everett Severs, aged 74, passed away peacefully in the afternoon of August 28th at Dayton Hospice. She was born on May 22nd, 1951 to Terry and Norma Everett in Indianapolis, Indiana and lived most of her adult life in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a devoted stay-at-home mother.
As a family friend stated, Angela was “a force to be reckoned with, but when she cared, it showed.” She was a generous soul who loved fiercely. If you so much as admired something she owned, she would offer it to you without hesitation. If you needed help, she would be there before you could ask.
Angela loved trees and decorated her house with hundreds of them. She greatly enjoyed her home in the woods and the many different birds that visited her six feeders. She shared her passion for nature with her children, spending countless hours watching animals and birds in the yard.
She also cherished the simple things in life: reading the morning newspaper, solving crossword puzzles, and rewatching her favorite TV shows such as Star Trek, Gunsmoke, and Ancient Aliens.
She is survived by her two children, Erin (and Ken) Severs and Matthew (and Wendy) Severs; grandkids, Lily and Graham; three younger brothers, Terry (and Emily) Everett, Chris (and Wendy) Everett, and Dore (and Richard) Everett; nieces and nephews, Jeannine, Kelly, Michael, Layla, and Kyle; honorary daughter, Andrea Pommer and her kids, Patrick, Simon, and Noah; and beloved German Shepherd, Brunhilda.
Angela’s love, humor, and generosity will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew her.
