Angela Beth Schwartz, fondly known as Angie, age 61, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 15, 1964, Angie was a lifelong resident of Dayton and a graduate of Belmont High School.
Throughout her life, Angie dedicated many years to the restaurant industry, where her friendly and warm-hearted nature made her well-liked among colleagues and patrons alike. Her outgoing personality and strong, courageous spirit were evident in all her interactions, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Angie was a devoted mother, proud of her accomplishments in raising her two children, daughter Adrianna Schwartz and son Levi (Olivia) Schwartz. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family, which included her beloved siblings: Mary (Richard) Moebius, Renee (Tom) Teague, Jennifer Hindman, Cindy (Mike) Seibert, Amy King, her brother-in-law, John Hosford, as well as her sisters-in-law, Chris Schwartz and Jan Schwartz. She was adored and cherished by countless friends and extended family members who celebrated her life.
In her free time, Angie reveled in watching game shows and movies, dancing and going out to eat. She loved activities such as bowling, playing darts, and doing ceramics. Her zest for life and love for her hobbies brought joy not only to herself but also to those around her. Some of her favorite memories were going on vacations with her loved ones.
Angie is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Rita Schwartz, her siblings, Barbara Hosford, Gary Schwartz, Joey Schwartz, Lee Schwartz, and Danny Schwartz, her sister-in-law, Wanda Schwartz, and her brothers-in-law, Kenny Hindman and Volley King. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart, strength, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. Angie's legacy of love and warmth will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family and friends will gather from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
