Amy Bush Hale

Amy Bush Hale, born March 14, 1966, in Dayton, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2026, in Alexandria, Kentucky. Amy’s life was defined by her unwavering love for family, deep faith, and the countless memories she created with those she cherished.

Amy’s greatest joy was her family. She devoted herself to her daughters, Megan Lynne Kingsley and Elizabeth Ann Gilmore, and found immense happiness in her role as grandmother to Jonah Lee Kingsley and Johnny Logan Kingsley. She treasured fishing trips, family gatherings, and simple moments spent laughing, playing, and making memories with her loved ones. Amy also had a special love for animals and especially enjoyed spending time with Macon the dog.

A devoted member of The Bridge Church, Amy’s faith guided her life and inspired her kindness, compassion, and strength.

Amy is survived by her daughters, Megan and Elizabeth; her grandsons, Jonah and Johnny; her brothers, Carey L. Bush and Kelly Bush; and her sister, Betsy Graber. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Patrick Hale, and her parents, Nancy Bush and William Bush.

Family and friends are invited to honor Amy’s memory at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will follow the Funeral Service at TJ's Banquet Center, at 1222 E Stroop Rd, Kettering, OH 45429.
