Alma M. Ayers, age 90, formerly of New York and currently of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
Alma was born in Westchester County, New York on January 6, 1930 to the late Charles F. & Marguerite (Davis) Latten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Charlotte Albert (Charles) and grandson, Curtis Gaddis Jr.
Alma is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle Ayers and Dana Ayers Gaddis; grandsons, Darnell Ayers, Anthony Gaddis and Marcus Gaddis; great-grandchildren, Josiah Ayers, Isaiah Ayers, Toni D. Gaddis, Danyelle L. Gaddis and Cannon M. Mallory; special niece and nephews, Cheryle Albert, Charles Albert Jr. and Gordon Albert; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 11 am- 12 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The funeral will follow at 12 pm. Alma will be laid to rest next to her grandson, Curtis Gaddis Jr. at West Memory Gardens, Moraine, OH.
