Alma "Jean" Hall

Alma "Jean" Hall, age 93 of Huber Heights, Ohio went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2026. She was born September 28, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio. The daughter of the late Joseph and Cecil McCarthy.

Jean was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and a great friend to many. She retired from AT&T after 37 years of dedicated employment and received many recognitions for her hard work. Jean was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading her bible everyday. Her family was her pride and joy. Jean had a passion for gardening. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hall; late husband and father of her children, JB Pigg; son, Stephen Pigg; siblings, Bob McCarthy, Jerry "Butch" McCarthy, Tom McCarthy, Patrick "Pat" McCarthy, and Julia "Judy" Singhoff; brother-in-laws, Buster Davis, Al Yocum, and Lonnie Miller.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Carol Jean Adcox; former son-in-law, David Adcox; daughter-in-law, Cricket Pigg; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kris) Pierson, Babe Ann (Chris Irick) Black, Christina (Ivan) Burke, Stephen Adcox, and Donnie (Sarah McMillan) Black; great grandchildren, Caylin, Hailey, Braden, Kinsley, Kirsten, Gavin, and Cassey; sisters, Doris Davis, Carol Yocum, and Bonnie Miller; several nieces and nephews; numerous other family members; as well as Special friends and family in Gainesboro, Tennessee.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 10:30am also at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
