Alice Rita Rodrigues Suzman

Alice Rita Rodrigues Suzman, age 91 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on August 22, 2018. Nini, as Alice was lovingly referred to, was born on September 29, 1926 in Macau, Providence of Portugal to the late Antonio Rodrigues and Catarina Sena de Souza. Alice married Robert L.B. Suzman in 1954. The two shared many happy years together.

Alice was an avid shopper and loved to find a great deal, she was a skilled chef and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. Alice was a talented artist, particularly a painter. She took great pride in her family and loved to spend time with her son and grandchildren. She was a caring, compassionate, loving, and generous grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Suzman; son, Mario A. R. Suzman; grandson, Mario R. "Ninho" Suzman; great-grandson Justin; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Nini leaves to cherish her memory, loving grandchildren, Anna Shirey, Robert (Lisa) Suzman, and Nina Suzman; great-grandchildren, Jacob (Hailey), Justin, David, Abigail, Morgan, Tyler, Alexis, Aaron, Elijah, Angelina, Gracie, Cody, and Stormy; great-great-grandchildren, Bella, Ninyo, Joey, and one on the way; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 7pm at Newcomer - North Chapel. Family will greet friends and loved ones for two hours prior to service (5pm-7pm).
