Alice J. Hummer

Alice J. Hummer, age 89, of Riverside, Ohio left this world on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

She passed away peacefully after gracefully living with difficult health issues for several years. She believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, and is now in His loving arms.

She was a dedicated mother, having raised six children, John, Ron, Karen, Joe, Linda, and Mike and was a wonderful blessing to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her extended family.

Alice was very caring as was evidenced by her many friends. She had a contentment that many long for. She loved people and was always ready to help.

She was a founding member of St. Helens Catholic church, and was a member of the Leisure Club for seniors from that church. Alice retired from WPAFB at the age of 79 after many years of service.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Alice was a breast cancer survivor so please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in her memory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 9:30 am until time of service at 10:30 am at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
