Alfred Kulig Jr.

November 22, 1933 — March 11, 2018

Alfred Kulig Jr, 84, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2018 at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties facility surrounded by family. He was born on November 22, 1933 in Valhalla, NY, the son of late Alfred and Elsie Kulig.


Al served with the US Air Force in the Korean War. In 1969, he then served in the Army Air Corp doing a tour in Vietnam. Al was a proud member of the Big Red One Infantry. He was a distinguished recipient of the Bronze Star. After twenty years of military service, Al became one of the best financial planners around. If he wasn't managing money, he could be found on the golf course with friends.


Al is survived by his two younger sisters, Eleanor Marceau and Pauline Moniz. Surviving in addition to his wife, Cheri Kulig, is his son Steve Kulig; his step daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Mark Jozokos; his step daughter and son-in-law Tara and Todd Lippeatt; six grandchildren, Brandon, Brittney, Christian, Noah, Lilly, and Lucas; and two great grandchildren Cole and Ariel.


A celebration of life will be held at David's Cemetery Mausoleum, 600 Mad River Rd., Kettering, OH on March 22, 2018. The visitation will be at 1PM-2PM with a memorial service at 2PM. A reception will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to The Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, OH, 45005.
