Alexis “Lexie” Shurte passed peacefully after a short illness. She was surrounded by family and loved. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family/friends, gardening, cooking, dogs, and teddy bears. She will be terribly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Wegerzyn Garden Center or your local Hospice.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Centerville. Visitation will be held the night prior on Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home. Lexie will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
