Alexander "Butch" Zavacky Sr.

Alexander "Butch" Zavacky Sr., age 66 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 27, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Alex and Gertrude Zavacky.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron Zavacky.
Butch is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Linda; sons, Alexander Zavacky, Jr., Derrick A. (Billie) Zavacky; grandchildren, Christopher (Josie) Sr., Dustin, Micah, Brittany, Nicholas, Zachary, Joseph and Chelsey Zavacky; great grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher Jr., Ella, Kaity, Naomi and Arabella Zavacky; sisters, Carol Duncan, Mary (Robert) Dix; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Zavacky family to help with funeral expenses.
