Alan Moore

Alan Moore, age 49 of Dayton, OH passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by family and special friends. He was born February 11, 1969 in Dayton, Ohio to Jerry and Virginia (Aker) Moore.

Alan was a big Dale Earnhardt Sr., Ohio State Football and Cincinnati Bengals fan and enjoyed building model cars. He loved working outside at various jobs throughout his life and spent a lot of his free time at "The Box" with friends. Alan loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Alan is survived by his mom, Virginia; a sister, Jen Moore; and numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry; paternal grandparents, Worley and Ora Moore; and maternal grandparents; Bill and Marguerite Aker.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place after cremation at a later date at the convenience of the family.
