Agnes K. Shampton, age 85, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 31, 1932 in Gyor, Hungary, the daughter of the late Jozsef and Anna Horvath.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Steve Shampton and grandson, Jon Shampton Jr.; daughters-in-law, Jean Shampton and Becky Shampton-O'Connor.
Agnes is survived by her children, John Joseph Shampton, Frank Joseph Dombos and Judith E. Shampton; grandchildren, Matthew (Heidi) Shampton and Michael (Christina) Shampton; Stacey Shampton widow of Jon Shampton Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jon Shampton, Destiny Shampton, Kayley Shampton, Steve Shampton and Luke Shampton; special friends, Terri (David) Hamm, Clara Neijer, Danny Combs and Scott Cline; ex-daughter-in-law, Brenda Shampton and most precious friend and employer, Zoe Dell Nutter. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
No public services will be held.
