Agnes K. Miller, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024. She was born December 16, 1939 in White Plains, New York the daughter of the late James and Margaret Kinney. Agnes graduated from Palm Beach High School. She had a longstanding love affair with Elvis that spanned her entire life and began with a fateful meeting with The King himself in Miami. Agnes had a long career working in management at the Bell South Telecommunications Company that spanned switchboards to the introduction of early computer systems. She was a very social person who liked to surround herself with family and friends. Agnes was always up for a group shopping trip, dinner at a restaurant or a night at the theater. She loved to travel, see and explore new places, including a trek to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge. For many years Agnes was a member of a bowling team. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the PEO International Sisterhood and Soropromist International. Agnes was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Agnes is survived by her Daughter, Laura R. (Bryan ) Kessinger; Grandsons, Steven T. Lynch, Kyle J. Lynch; Nephew, James B. Kinney, III; and by numerous other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her Brother, James B. Kinney, Jr..
