Blanton, Aaron, age 89, of Moraine, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014. He was born March 4, 1925 in Lambert, Kentucky to the late Charles & Lula (Davis) Blanton.
Aaron was a United States Marine Corps Veteran proudly serving in WWII. He retired from General Motors/Delco Moraine with over 33 years of service. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Aaron is survived by his loving wife of 68 years: Elsie (Clemons) Blanton; son: Lindsay Gregg Blanton; sisters-in-law: Shirley Blanton & Lucille Clemons; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until time of service. Entombment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
