Barb Mossbarger, age 79 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Springfield Masonic Home. She was born September 23, 1943 in Richmond, Indiana the daughter of the late Herman and Mildred Humphrey.

Barb retired from General Motors after 33 years. There she met the love of her life, Jerry Mossbarger and they married on September 22, 1972. After which, she would tell anyone who would listen that she was a Mossbarger. She was an avid golfer and bowler for 50+ years. She also enjoyed gardening, cross words, cross stitch, crocheting and reading. In her spare time, she loved to play cards and board games with family and friends. She never met a stranger. Barb was a loving wife, mother and grandma who will be dearly missed.

Barb is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry; daughters, Tonya (Chris) Fry and Tracy (Brandon) Boyd; grandson, who she loved dearly, Nathaniel "Nate" Fry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Alzheimer's Association in Barb's memory.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a service to follow at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).

A celebration of life will be held at Greenfield First United Methodist Church in Greenfield, Ohio on Wednesday, May 31st from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
