In Memory Of
Charles Edward "Charlie" Dryer
1957 - 2023
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife of 39 years, Pam Dryer.
Charlie is survived by his loving children, Andrea "Andi" (Mike) Campbell, Tracy (Kyle) Kuykendall and Chuck (Jess) Dryer; grandchildren, Collin, Carter, Carson, Madeline, Olivia, Parker and Avery; siblings, Cherrie (John) Treber, Donna Dryer, Bob (Sharon) Dryer and Lynn (Ray) McCoy; and many other loving family and friends.
He retired from Dayton Forging & Heat Treating. He was a member of the Dayton Umpires Association for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, cards and cheering on his Cincinnati Bengals. Charlie always lived his life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Those who knew him always enjoyed the games he created on various occasions and the poems he could come up with for special events.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-4:00pm (to make sure everyone could still watch the Bengals play, as he would want), on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11:00am, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 Allen Street, Dayton.
