In Memory Of
Stella Kay "Kay" Scarbro
1955 - 2022

Stella Kay Scarbro, lovingly known as Kay, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, whom she has been looking for since 1972, on October 1, 2022. She was born on August 30, 1955 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Ernest and Iantha Endicott.

She loved attending church with her family, and she was called upon to be a Sunday School teacher whenever needed. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. When she was able, she loved going out to eat with them and play hide 'n seek. Her love and warmth will be greatly missed by those that loved her.

In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her siblings: Ernest "Ray" Endicott, Orethea "Boots" Ward, Leonard Endicott, and Edna "Ellie" Endicott.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald "Joe" Scarbro; her daughter, Carla (Jason) Lanter; grandchildren: Hazel, Cameron, and Heaven; siblings: Raymond "Bo" Endicott, Odessa Brown, and John Endicott; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurse Meredith, and to Megan & Emma for the care they gave Kay.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Dayton National Cemetery, Shelter A, where she will be laid to rest. The service will be officiated by her pastor, Branden Jones.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's memory may be made to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation.
