Edgar Meadows, Jr., age 76, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2022. He was born in Prince Wick, WV on July 15, 1946 to the late Virginia and Edgar Meadows, Sr. In addition to his parents, Edgar was preceded in death by his wife Anna Ruth Deaton Meadows, and 10 siblings.
Edgar is survived by his sons: Rodney (Deanna) Meadows and Mark (Misty Ramsey) Meadows; grandchildren: Matthew Meadows and Hannah Lynn Meadows; siblings: Dennis and Charles Meadows; and many other relatives and friends.
Edgar retired from General Motors after almost 30 years. He also served his country in the United States Army for two years. Edgar loved the outdoors, including bird watching, hiking, and finding new covered bridges to explore. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
