Richard Paul Dunham, "Dick," age 87 of Washington Twp., passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Dayton V.A. Hospice. He was born February 26, 1935 in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Dick is a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with Globe Motors in Dayton for 25 years, and ultimately retired from Avnet in Dallas, TX in 2001. Dick was also a Mason with Lodge #753 in Beavercreek. Anyone who knew Dick, knew he was "King of the Pepper Fry." He also enjoyed fishing watching football, and will be remembered for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.

Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carole; daughters, Brenda (Mike) Hartley, Diane Myers; grandchildren, Kelly (Adam) Foglyano, Cassidy Myers; great grandchildren, Giana and Vincent Foglyano; siblings, Dale (Melveen) Dunham, Mike (Lin) Dunham, Carol Ann Gratsch; as well as numerous loving relatives and many friends.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer F. Dunham and Ethel Gratsch.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery with military honors.
