In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joe, Shirley, and Freddy.
Len is survived by his wife of 21 years, Debbie “Shorty” (Turner) Dunaway; his sons, Bryan (Renae) Dunaway, Mark (Debbie) Dunaway, Mason (Lexi Minton) Delabar; step-son Danny (Lisa) Brodnick; step-daughter Emily Stanley; his grandchildren: twins Danielle Brodnick and Brittany (Matt) Ball, Emily Conner, Cameron Dunaway, Michael Dunaway and Preston Dunaway. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Ava Ball, Bentley Conner, “one on the way” Emery; along with his sister Clara (Jim) Wemer and many nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
Len was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and teacher to those he met. He always took the time to encourage others and help them succeed in all of their endeavors. Over his long career he had a positive impact on those he met and worked with. He was the former Golf Course supervisor at Walnut Grove Country Club, the former partner of the John Deere Dealership in Lodi, Ohio, the former General Manager and Superintendent at the Oxford Country Club, and he also loved working at Car Quest in Oxford.
Len was a Patriot and was very proud of his long service with the Army National Guard.
Len was a MOPAR Man, he loved British sports cars as well as racing and enjoyed many laps around the race track. In his spare time he loved to “tinker” with anything that had a motor and he enjoyed many home projects. Most of all, Len loved his family. He was very proud of them ,enjoyed taking care of them and spending time with them.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Len’s memory.
