Jean Pruitt, 91, of Kettering, went home to be with Jesus on June 24th, 2022. She was a long time member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Lowe, her mother, Myrtle Lowe, her brother, Wayland Lowe, and her grandson Chris Jones.

Jean is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 71 years, Joe Pruitt; her daughters, Deloris (Jerry) Griffith, and Patsy Pruitt-Jones; three grandchildren, Michelle Griffith of Dillon, CO, Shannon (Karmen) Griffith of Broomfield, CO, Sean (Kelly) Griffith of Castle Rock, CO, and four great-grandchildren, Gracyn Griffith and Hudson Griffith of Broomfield, CO, Ethan Griffith and Keirra Griffith of Castle Rock, CO. She is also survived by 5 siblings, Louise Partin of Williamsburg, KY, Maxine Hatfield of Frakes, KY, Roy (Jeanne) Lowe of Wapakoneta, OH, Williard (Georgia) Lowe of Williamsburg, KY, and Tim (Betty) Lowe of Williamsburg, KY, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean was dearly loved and will always be remembered for her kind heart, her giving nature and her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 11:15 am until time of service at 12:15 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd.
