In Memory Of
Nancy Eileen Haworth Hunt
1944 - 2022
Nancy was the oldest of 5 children and a second mother to her younger siblings. Her loving and caring nature carried on to her own children whom she loved dearly as well as her grandchildren whom she spoiled. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing at St. Mary's Lake and spending time with her cats, Misty and Trixie. She was a faithful member of East Dayton Christian Church. Nancy had a light from within that she shared with everyone around her but also her ability to never take things too seriously and bringing joy to all who knew her. Nancy was truly the matriarch of her family who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, David Haworth; son, Kevin Haworth; second husband, Albert Hunt and brother, Rick Redick.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Gary) Thomas; grandchildren, Aron (Jessica) Haworth & Jessica (Josh) Thomas; siblings, Jim (Kelly) Redick, Elaine (Cliff) Stamper & Bruce (Roxi) Redick; adopted daughter, Cindy Gilpin; and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to Hospice of Dayton in Nancy's honor.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Nancy will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton following the service.
