Cynthia Wood Crocetti, age 86, died peacefully June 12, 2022 at her home in Sycamore Glen Retirement Community, Miamisburg, OH. Cynthia was born January 10, 1936 in Concord, MA to the late Alfred Lovell Wood and Geraldine Stafford Wood. She was a brilliant child who had a way with numbers and excelled in all she did. After attending Smith College she worked in insurance accounting, ultimately landing in her defining and much loved position documenting boats/ships with the Coast Guard in New London, CT.

Cynthia married Charles William Crocetti in 1964. Together they nurtured three beloved children. Cynthia lived in Uncasville, CT for most of her adult life. She was an active member of Lee Memorial Church in Norwich, and volunteered whenever needed, including shelters and domestic violence programs.

Cynthia was predeceased by her husband Charlie, sons Charles Jr. and Steven Crocetti, her parents, and her brother Alfred Wood. She is survived by her daughter Karen Barber of Miamisburg, OH, daughters-in-law Tina Gruber of Bainbridge, PA, and Julie Bingham of Pachuta, MS, nine grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, her sister Anne Wood Squier of Portland OR, a niece and three nephews. Cynthia treasured them all. Cynthia was also a treasure to all who knew and loved her and she will be sorely missed.
