In Memory Of
Darlene Harmon
1963 - 2022

Darlene Harmon, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27th, 2022 after battling pancreatic cancer. Darlene was born December 30th, 1963 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Corneda & Thomas Harmon. She was the 2nd eldest of 8 children.

Darlene had a successful career as the VP of Mortgage Underwriting at Bank of America where she displayed her wonderful quality of attention to detail. Aside from a strong career, her pride and joy were her two sons, Terell Bentley & Lamar Skeeter.

Darlene was blessed with a large, loving family; always looking for a way to come together and make memories.

Darlene was an amazingly intelligent woman with an incredible personality and a heart of gold. She spent her time daydreaming about taking her grandson horseback riding, cruising on her Harley Davidson, and facetiming with family and friends. A natural caretaker at heart, she would give anyone in need, the shirt off of her back.

Darlene is survived by her fiancé and 2 sons: Along with her 2 grandchildren, 6 siblings and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

In Lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to either of her two favorite foundations. St. Jude’s Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) and The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://www.pancan.org).

A viewing to honor Darlene Harmon will be held on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439.
