Barb was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 20, 1940 to the late Cecil Sr. & Leona Porter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Hartings; son, Paul Hartings; and siblings, Cecil Porter Jr., Donald Porter, Mary Howard, Anna McDermott and Faye Meetze.
Barb is survived by her children, John (Brenda) Porter, Edward (Melissa) Hartings, Ken (Tammy) Hartings, Calvin (Kim) Hartings and Brian (Jessie Brock) Hartings; daughter-in-law, Winnie Baxter; grandchildren, Krystal, James, Dustin, Brandon, Joshua, Savannah, Brien, Brad, Andrew, Caleb, Jimmy, Ashley, Stephen, Timothy, Brandie, Mary, Matthew, Robert, Kimberly, Amber and Ashley; 19 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces; nephews; extended relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:30-11:30 am at Grace Baptist Church (142 Olive Rd, Dayton, OH 45417). The service will follow at 11:30 am.
Barb will be laid to rest with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery.
