Michelle Kristin Johnson

Michelle Kristin Johnson, "Shelly" "MJ", age 33, of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2022.

She was born May 16, 1988 in Dayton, Ohio to Michael Anthony and Carol Sue (Fetzer) Johnson. Shelly attended Bishop Leibold during her middle school years and then attended Altar High School for her Freshman year. Shelly was a graduate of West Carrollton High School, Class of 2006 and went on to earn her Associate's degree at Sinclair Community College. She worked at Bonefish Grill at Dayton Mall for 10 years and also at Bath and Body Works at Town and Country.

Shelly was preceded in death by her brother Matthew, and her grandparents, Juanita and Douglas Hannah.

She is survived by her beloved son Silas James Miller and his father Jeff Miller; and grandmother Debbie Miller; her parents Mike and Carol Johnson; her sister Leanne Kerry Johnson; her half -sister Leah Johnson and her 3 children; fiance' Jess Couch along with his children; godparents Jeff Fetzer and Christy Fetzer, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Tracy Ulrich.

Shelly was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. Shelly had an interest in astrology and botany. She loved to make everyone happy and she always lit up the room when she walked in.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silas' education fund.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Hope Church 6 S. 3rd Street, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.
