Cenna is survived by her husband of 25 years, Steven Sams; her dog, Bogie; her children: Tina (Ken) Huskey, Donald Brewer II, and Stephanie (Paul) Gard; her grandchildren: Cecele (Josh) Stanley, Nolan (Kourtney) Ratliff, Madison Brewer, James Hyatt Jr. and Ryan Hyatt; 8 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Donald Pettitt, Johnny Pettit, Rose (Jim) Connell and Lillie Kelley; and many nieces and nephews.
Cenna was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Pettitt and Mary (Henderson) Douglas.
Cenna loved traveling with her husband and was always up for a road trip, especially if it involved shopping, fishing or stopping at a casino! Cenna enjoyed celebrating with family, especially during the holidays. Her laugh and kindness will be missed.
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. A burial will follow at Medway Cemetery.
